Research Reporter

Capital Profile, Hong Kong

Capital Profile is an online, subscription-only news and due dilligence research service for various stakeholders in the finance industry. The service specialises in intelligence on key business families and controlling stakeholders from emerging markets in Asia to aid industry participants manage risks and identify opportunities.

We are seeking a Research Reporter to join our expanding team and develop our coverage in the Greater China region. A curious mind, an ability to read between the lines, and attention to detail are essential qualifications for this role. The successful candidate will have the chance to put the region’s most influential business owners under the spotlight, as you develop expertise in investigative reporting. This role will suit a young reporter with a good grasp of the Chinese and English languages.

Requirements

  • Interest in investigative work
  • Inquisitive nature with strong networking skills
  • Independent worker with excellent time management and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of business news coverage with the willingness to delve deeper
  • High standard of written English
  • Work experience in due-diligence or research-related fields, an advantage
