Nordic M&A and Private Equity Forum 2012

13 June 2012
Grand Hotel, Stockholm

For the past five years, mergermarket’s annual forum has attracted over 200+ delegates from the world of Nordic corporate finance and M&A.

Nordic M&A activity last year was up 62.7% when compared to 2010. Last year inbound deals increased 168.3% from 2010, with transactions totalling €32.2bn. Nordic companies were also more acquisitive last year, announcing €8.3bn of outbound deals in the fourth quarter – the highest outbound deal value since 2001. With activity in the Energy, Mining and Utilities sector rising 341% when compared to 2010, this forum presents an exemplary opportunity to join industry experts to canvass whether this year is set to follow suit.

Topics for discussion:

  • What are the key Nordic investment opportunities for 2012?
  • What is driving increased outbound dealflow?
  • What makes the Nordic region such an attractive area for expansion?
  • Sector spotlight on driving growth into new markets
  • With Healthcare becoming a more viable investment source, which service provides new investor appetite?
  • A review of key deals within the Industrial sector – will consolidation amongst trade players be a trend in 2012?
